Actor Pasupathi definitely belongs to a different league. At a time when scandals involving actresses and actors are rife, Pasupathi has vowed that he will never do films which feature intimate scenes with the heroine.

‘Vedigundu Murugesan’, however, will be an exception. The film required the hero Pasupathi to get close to heroine, and the actor says he had to abide by the director’s instructions. “Despite being a comedy, the film does have a few scenes of closeness between me and the heroine. And I had to do them because I had already agreed to do the film. This will be the last time I do this,” the actor clearly stated at a media briefing held recently for the movie.

Pasupathi hails from a serious acting background from “Koothu Pattarai”, and has been among the more important character artistes in recent times. “Despite being launched as a villain, I am being approached for hero roles only these days,” the actor says. He adds that he would like to do some serious acting, including playing our national heroes, like VVS Iyer.
