Amidst the heavy incoming of new generation movies, even directors like Aashiq Abu are in difficulty to hold the ground. The initial responses about the films releases this weekend shows that FDFS viewers are not completely happy with any of the movie releases this week and all of them opened to average first day shows.

The most ambitious of the week's projects was 'Idukki Gold' from director Aashiq Abu' which has now been rated average in the initial responses. The try for another hit with the 'nostalgia ' stuff seems to have backfired and with nothing much than drugs tales and with a shaky climax, the movie is expected to find difficulty to run to longer spans.

So is the case of 'Pattom Pole' from Azhagappan featuring Dulqar salman and Malavika Mohan. The lead pair and their chemistry are said to the movie's highlights, though the support offered to them by the screenplay is really thin. The movie is also opined as over lengthy though it has to its rescue some fine cinematography and good music.

'Bunty Chor' is the other release of the weekend. Coming from lesser known stars its has least chances to put the Box Office into big happiness. The fourth in the list this week, 'Malayaleenadu' has found very few release centres and is opined as a washout from day one.
