Though Mallika Sherawat is pretty much a free bird when it comes to her stay in Hollywood, closer home at Bollywood, she does believe that there are certain set perceptions around womenfolk that have ceased to change especially in India despite the world moving ahead.

Ruing the fact that in her decade long stay in the industry she has seen the good, bad and ugly side of Bollywood and its film folks, Mallika also feels that till date most out there haven't been able to differentiate a woman's real and reel life image.

Sighs Mallika, "Yes, on Indian screen I am projected as this glamour doll. However if I, or for that matter anyone else, has gone bold, she has been looked at differently. If a woman wears a short skirt, she is judged. Harsh, but true! Still, what to do? I have been a victim of that for long now...

She may have worn short skirts for her screen roles but re-emphasises the fact that the real truth about her is far different from what is being made out to be and is also quite contrary to her set image.

"For starters, I am a health freak. I am a vegetarian, a non-smoker and a non-drinker. I live a clean life style, eat organic food and don't consume any diary product. That's the way I live life and results are there to be seen in my fitness. Since I go to bed at 9 in the night, it means I can avoid all the parties which anyways start only at 11 PM. In any case there is too much of smoke and noise out there in the parties.

I am happy with my daily schedule since I like to move along with the cycle of the planet. This way I can be at top of my game and fresh enough in the morning to give my best to a particular scene."
