Ilayathalapathy Vijay`s Bairavaa` co-starring Keerthi Suresh and Jagapathy Babu is confirmed for release on Pongal 2017 with huge expectations riding on it. Suriya`s S3` which earlier locked December 23rd has now been postponed and is most likely to hit the screens on Pongal.

This Suriya-Vijay clash marks an exciting co-incidence for way back in 2007 Vijay`s Azhagiya Tamizh Magan` directed by Bharathan and Suriya`s Vel` directed by Hari locked horns at the box office with the latter film emerging the winner.

Now Baravaa` directed by Bharathan and S3` directed by Hari collide head on at the BO for Pongal 2017 and it is going to be a major treat for fans of both Vijay and Suriya and will be interesting to see who leads the race.
