Ilayathalapathy Vijay has taken a decision in the past few years to show his gratitude by first giving huge donations to the Producer Council and the Director`s Union. After completing Theri`, Vijay donated an undisclosed amount to the South Indian Cinematographers Association. From his Bhairavaa` remuneration Vijay had donated rupees 10 Lakhs to the Editor`s Union. It is reported that similar donations are being planned to all the 24 unions of different crafts in the industry. Great gesture indeed.
