Ilayathalapathy's next amazing step for 'Vijay 61'

The first schedule of Vijay 61` directed by Atlee had Vijay in a never before seen village elder getup and it is said to be set in the 80s period in the story. Nithya Menen has played his pair in these portions and the team will be travelling to the US for the next.

In the US, Vijay will be playing a modern youth and to nail the look is doing heavy workouts to lose weight. It is already common knowledge that there is also another role the Ilayathalapathy will be playing in the film and Samantha and Kajal Agarwal will be the love interests. Vijay 61` is an A.R. Rahman musical with Sri Thenandal Films funding it with a stellar cast that includes S. J. Suriya, Sathyaraj, Vadivelu, Kovai Sarala and Sathyan.
