We had reported earlier that Sri Thenandal Films for their landmark 100th film have signed on Sundar C as the director and have marked a budget in excess of 350 crores for the historical fantasy film making it the costliest production ever in Indian cinema.

There had been rumors that Suriya would headline the cast, but he has officially denied that and his next film has been confirmed to be directed by Pa Ranjith. Now news is surfacing that it is indeed the Illayathalapathy Vijay who is the hero of the film and the team are keeping it under wraps. If this turns out to be true we can expect the most exhilarating treat from the Vijay-Sundar C combo which will come together for the first time.
