When Illeana debuted opposite a debutante hero way back in 2006, no body imagined that she would become one of the most sought-after heroines in the South. Never the one to be hurry, the actress has not only made her mark in Telugu, but is also geared up to make it in Bollywood. She is today the one actress who has three big-ticket films lined up for release in three prominent industries 'Nanban' in Tamil, 'Honey' in Telugu, and 'Burfee' in Hindi.

She must be lucky to be acting with Vijay, Allu Arjun and Ranbir Kapoor at one time in her career. All said, the Goan beauty never expected that she would join films. "I knew none when I came here. After winning the audience appreciation, I am still learning to adapt myself to the industry. I am frank and straightforward in my speech and gait."

Illeana is a self-introspective person. She now knows what kind of a person she is; she doesn't shy away from acknowledging the fact that she has been able to come in life because of the support of so many people around her. The dusky beauty doesn't see the need for listening to what others are critiquing about her. "I am my biggest critic. I reflect on my character before signing any film. I always understand how to do a particular scene before attempting it. After giving my shot, I check my performance. If I feel that I was not good, I go for another take," says the talented diva.
