With all decks cleared for the release of Imsai Arasan 23am Pulikesi, producer Shankar is planning to release the movie this week-end.

It may be recalled that following Censor Board urging the producer to obtain a No-Objection certificate from Animal Welfare Board for the movie since they have used horses and elephants in the movie, the release was delayed.

Following a meeting with Chief Minister M Karunanidhi last week during which Shankar urged his intervention to ensure a early release of the movie, all things started to move in right direction and all troubles were sorted out.

Now Shankar is planning to release Imsai Arasan on 7 July. A hilarious entertainer, the movie features Vadivelu in the lead role with debutant Simbhu Devan wielding the megaphone.

The promos are interesting and compelling. Hope the movie matches that.
