In his upcoming film "Mahanadigan" (Great Actor), Sathyaraj will spoof one of his own tribe.

The film tells the story of an ordinary actor becoming a superstar and, true to Tamil Nadu tradition, eyeing the chief minister's post.

The title song of the film, directed by Shakti Chidambaram, reportedly consists of unflattering epithets.

Six directors and four producers are acting in the film as directors and producers.

Manoj Kumar has an important role as the leader of an association of the star's fans.
