Tension has been hanging heavy in the air for months now, and ever since Burhan Wani was put to rest, India has consistently been hitting international headlines, to be in a state of agonising terror. On the other side of the Tropic of Cancer, at the northern most tip, there is a lot of stress and a river of bloodshed. As the entire nation, and the rest of the world, including the superpowers, are mourning the sacrifice of martyrs at Uri, all political force in the country, with the backing of the rest of the world's confidence, is on a mission to give it back. With the tremendous feat of a successful cross border surgical operation, India is fighting tooth and nail in ending terrorism.

Meanwhile, the film fraternity has not only been condoling the sad demise of the martyrs, but have also been contemplating other moves. One of the hot topics of discussion at the Bollywood table is that of Pakistani actors and artistes in Indian cinema. Some Pakistani actors were interviewed for a view on the Uri attack, much to the fuelling of controversy, while the Indian counterparts have gone from observing neutrality to snubbing. But the Indian Motion Picture Producers Association (IMPPA) felt enough is enough; with the news of success at the surgical operation, came one more sensational Tweet. The IMPPA has officially enforced a ban on all Pakistani actors and artistes, to take part in Indian screens, till things return to normalcy.

Earlier, Zee Television had decided to retract all Pak shows. As India declared to boycott the upcoming SAARC summit in Islamabad, with the friendly neighbours quickly following suit, and the bill sitting on the Oval Table stating Pakistan as a terrorist state, and now with the latest hoot call with the first authoritative cross border attack in this government, and the film fraternity also joining the mission, India is giving every bit of the blow, back.
