Security man Sreekumaran Nair, who was injured following the rush for I's first show passed away at the private hospital where he was undergoing treatment.
The mishap occurred at the Kadapakada theatre where Sreekumar works as a security man.
A cine lover had jumped the wall to get into the theatre premises for Vikram starrer 'I', but instead landed on Sreekumar, snapping his neck, He was taken to a hospital at Kollam and later shifted to Trivandrum. Suresh Gopi who played the villain in 'I' had lent a helping hand by giving 1 lakh rupees for the treatment, but all in vain.
