Interim Chief Minister O.Panneer Selvam has been expelled from the AIADMK party. The MLAs supporting General Secretary V.K.Sasikala have announced this after the latter's conviction by the Supreme Court in the DA case.

However around 10 MLAs including Cabinet Minister Mafoi.K.Pandiyarajan, many MPs and veterans of the AIADMK party have offered support to OPS to remain as CM.

MLAs supporting Sasikala have been staying at the Golden Bay resort in Koovathur near ECR. They have nominated Edappadi Palanisamy as their Legislative Party leader beside removing OPS from the basic membership of the party.

Now in a shocking turn of even. OPS who has been hitherto maintaining a distance from the MLAs supporting Sasikala has decided to meet them at Koovathur.

We will have to wait for some more time to know the outcome of this meeting.
