Nayanthara is playing a strong-willed district collector in Aramm` (Tamil), directed by Gopi Nainaar. The awaited film has music by Ghibran, while it's produced by Kotapadi Rajesh.

After Raja Rani`, Nayan decided not to participate in the promotions of the films that she stars in and so, has maintained her stance for the past five years or so. For example, she didn't promote 'Babu Bangaram' in Telugu.

However, the lady superstar is making an exception for 'Aramm'. She is promoting the film on Sun TV as an Independence Day special. Industry insiders are of the opinion that producer Kotapadi Rajesh is Nayan`s manager, which is why she is doing it as a favor to him.
