The Islamic organisations and Kamal Hassan have to reach a compromise before the ban can be lifted. And so they had the talk. Now, the Islamic Organisation has clearly stated the rules to be met if the compromise is to happen.

They want at least 20 selected scenes from "Vishwaroopam" to be cropped. If this happens, almost 30 minutes of the movie will be removed. The scenes of Afghan children being used as child soldiers with guns in their hands, scenes where suicide bombers pray for the last time before killing, the sound of prayers during war and the quotes of Umar Mullah are all asked to be taken out of "Vishwaroopam".

Kamal Hassan's older brother spoke to the Islamic Organisations and they stand their ground and say they will wait until Kamal himself meets them and agrees to the cropping before reaching the compromise. If Kamal meets them in person and agrees to this, the chances are that the ban will be lifted and "Vishwaroopam" will hit the screens within 2 days.
