Nandamuri Kalyan Ram's awaited movie 'Ism' was done with censor formalities a while ago. It has been certified with U/A. The film will hit the screens on Oct 21, a day on which Rashmi Gautam's 'Thanu Vachenanta' and Adith Arun-starrer 'L7' will hit the screens.

The Nandamuri actor is playing the role of a gutsy journalist in this Puri Jagannadh directorial. He is also sporting a six-pack abs look. The film was mostly shot in Spain.

The film is set in a money laundering backdrop.

Aditi Arya is the female lead. Jagapathi Babu has a key role. Gollapudi Maruthi Rao, Tanikella Bharani, Posani Krishna Murali, JP Reddy, Ali, Eeshwari Rao, Vennela Kishore, Banda Raghu, Shatru, Ajay Ghosh, Srikanth, Kotesh Madhava, Nayan and Ravi are part of the cast.

Music-directed by Anup Rubens, it has cinematography by Mukesh. Editing is by Junaid. Lyrics are by Bhaskarabhatla. Action choreography is by Jani. Puri's fans are expecting a powerful, message-oriented flick, especially after listening to the recently-released songs. Besides the song rendered by PJ himself, the melody 'Kanulu Navaina' has been catchy.
