Prakash Raj and Shruthi were introduced by top notch K Balachander. It is after knowing from Prakash Raj the veteran KB introduced Shruthi in Tamil film ‘Kalki’ for which she bagged the state award in Tamil Nadu. KB noticed Shruthi at the Filmfare function in Chennai and inquired with Prakash Raj.

Prakash Raj first noticed Shruthi in her debut film ‘Shruthi’ (remake of Pudhu Vasantham) and after 16 years both are together in a film ‘Puttakkana Highway’.

Acting with Prakash Raj is a challenge for me says Shruthi who had scores of performance oriented roles off late.

Shruthi in ‘Idondla Aidhu’ has been selected for Indian panorama section. Her films like ‘Nam Kalyani’, ‘Sri Naga Shakthi’ are ready to hit the screens.
