A major portion of Dhanush's Thiruvilayadal Arambam is completed and the remaining portion would be shot beginning this February.

Wielding the megaphone is director Boopathy Pandian, who had combined with actor in Devadhaiyay Kandein before.

Rumors had it that the project was shelved and that actress Shreya was not acting in the movie (since she is cast opposite Rajinikanth in Sivaji).

Denying the reports, Boopathy Pandian said, 'The project is on. I share a good rapport with Dhanush and it would be reflected on the screen'.

Shreya's role has come good and there is no truth in reports that she has backed out of the project, he adds.

Having worked as associates to Parthiban and Sundar C before, the director says, 'I am keen to give a quality film which would be hilarious and watched by all'.

Asked about the controversies in the title, he expressed optimism that the issue would be sorted out before release.

Besides Dhanush, Prakash Raj plays an important role in the movie. After Puthupettai, Thiruvilayadal Arambam would be released.
