We had reported sometime back that Priyamani is all set to act in a heroine-centric period film, which will be on the lines of Anushka starrer 'Arundhathi'.
Now the latest update is that the movie has been titled 'Angulika'. And interestingly, Deepak, who had acted opposite Anushka in 'Arundhathi', will be the lead actor in this film too.
"Director Prem Aryan has come out with a gripping script, which is of socio-fantasy theme. The film will sure be a milestone in the career of Priyamani, who is a national award winner."
Priyamani, who was part of movies such as 'Paruthiveeran' and 'Malaikottai', was last seen in 'Charulatha', in which she had played conjoined twins.
