This weekend, Nani and Aadi will compete for their share in the pie. As popularity goes, Aadi gets a stiff competition from Nani, a far more talked-about actor. As able backing and the enormity of the release go, Krishnagaadi Veera Prema Gaadha easily pips Garam. As the appeal of Hanu Raghavapudi and Madan goes, the former easily trumps the latter.

However, there is nothing to suggest that Garam comes a distant second. Producer Sai Kumar and director Madan of Pellaina Kothalo and Pravarakhyudu fame may deliver a big surprise. Aadi may have had a slew of flops (Sukumarudu, Galipatam, Rough, and Pyar Mein Padipoyane), but Madan's script seems to have the potential to take him to the next level. Cast opposite him is Adah Sharma. Brahmanandam as alien PK may just be a great crowd-puller. Tanikella Bharani and Naresh may please the family audiences big-time. All that Aadi has to make sure is that he shows a new shade this time around.

As for Nani's film, the suspense over what the 'veera prema gaadha' might be will be over on Feb 12. With a film like Bhale Bhale Mogadivoy behind him, Nani gets a huge edge. With 14 Reels at the helm, he has already ensured a big release. In US alone, KVPG will release in 130 screens in 118 centres.
