For Brazilian model Izabelle Leite, it was pretty much a 'luck by chance' moment when she bagged her first feature film 'Sixteen', which had released last year. Not quite inclined to do movies and happy with her modeling assignments, 'Sixteen' pretty much came her way when she was least expecting it. Later, when 'Purani Jeans' fell in her lap as well, Izabelle - who at one point in time was dating Virat Kohli - was sure about giving some serious shot at acting.

"When I did 'Sixteen', there was some good feedback that had come my way. Still, I wasn't too sure if I wanted to continue doing films," says Izabelle, who is now a regular on ramp and appearances, "I started getting some good visibility though and on my next visit to India, I got to know about 'Purani Jeans'. Those around me suggested that I should give the film a serious consideration."

As luck would have it (again), Izabelle auditioned for the film and saw a thumbs-up coming her way.

"I wanted to hear the full narration from the director though," says Izabelle, "What was really interesting for me was the script and the role that I was chosen to play. I really loved them both and there was no way I could have said 'no' to the film. My director (Tanushri Chattrji Bassu) carried so much conviction about the film that it was infectious enough to rub on me too."

In the film, Izabelle plays a Mumbai based girl who moves to Kausali and finds herself amidst a gang of five young boys who call themselves ‘Kasauli Cowboys’. Amidst them, she finds the two main leads Tanuj Virwani and Aditya Seal.

"Yes, I do mix up well with both of them, both in real as well as reel life" she says, "My maximum scenes are with Tanuj and Aditya. Most importantly, my role is nowhere like the one that I had enacted in 'Sixteen'. I could have stuck with similar roles but thankfully Tanushri had something different planned for me."

We would love to see how different and interesting does it all turn out to be once this Manju Lulla film releases all over today.
