Things have taken a turn with Jagadeesh turning emotional after Mohanlal campaigned for his political rival Ganesh Kumar. A distraught Jagadeesh said that he was beyond shocked that Mohanlal did this. Ganesh Kumar is the LDF candidate and opposite him as the UDF candidate is Jagadeesh. A tearful Jagadeesh said that he had known Mohanlal much before Ganesh Kumar had.

Ganesh Kumar's rally saw Priyadarshan and Mohanlal asking the public to vote for him. This is a consistency where the three political parties have fielded cine artistes as their candidates. Meanwhile BJP candidate Bheeman Ravi said that even if Amitabh Bacchan came and campaigned for other parties only BJP would win.
