Real Star Sri Hari's demise has caused a gap that is looking ominous to be filled. Several films unfinished or committed by the late actor are now being reworked to either reshoot, manage with the existing footage, redub the voice or such tricks to manage the unavailability of actor. Earlier this happened with top stars like Guru Dutt, Madhu Bala and Sanjeev Kumar in Bollywood and our own Soundarya in Telugu. Their films were either scrapped or replaced by other actors too.

Now, the news is that Srinu Vaitla, whom Sri Hari had always been a favorite actor, has actually designed his character in Mahesh Babu's 'Aagadu' as well and the death of the actor has destroyed his plans of the first Mahesh - Sri Hari combination. Now it’s heard that the director has approached Sai Kumar, another senior actor to fill Sri Hari's shoes. In another development, Jagapathi Babu is heard to have replaced Sri Hari in Ravi Kumar Chowdary - Sai Dharam Tej project which is half way thru its production. News is that the entire portions of Sri Hari are being reshot with Jagapathi Babu.

While Sai Kumar and Jagapathi Babu are quite competent in stature to Sri Hari, it will be interesting to see how they will be able to generate the raw humor the dead actor could spin out of his character and timing. The entire industry including the audience will be curiously watching both these developments as to who will be able to reposition himself better to match the timing of Sri Hari and thus fill the great void.
