Jaggesh sure of MLA seat

Once beaten from his home constituency Turuvekere Assembly election famous comedy hero Jaggesh who belongs to Congress-I party is confident of winning the election this time. He is taking three months leave from film acting from the day of announcement of by-election to Karnataka state that is now ruled by Governor Mr Rameshwar Thakur.

"The people in my constituency are very firm in their outlook. In the last election they made up their mind for opponent party and adhered to their decision. This time I have traveled each and every house. On the spot I have worked with government support for their problems. They have spotted me as a good worker for the constituency and as a comedy actor they adore me. They have promised me already the vote. I am confident from my work that I will definitely win a seat to Assembly from Congress-I ticket", says Jaggesh.

Meanwhile he is completing all his tasks before 25th of January 2008 and making himself free for election battle. He has agreed for 'Beedhi Basavanna' Kannada film that will be directed by Kodlu Ramakrishna.

The series of films he has 'CID Esha, Kodagana Koli Nungitha, Eddelu Manjunatha and Tata Birla' are almost at the finishing stage. These films might be deferred for release because Jaggesh will be contesting the elections.

The popular television program Jaggesh was anchoring for 'Kasturi Kannada' channel has been stopped after 16 episodes at the peak of popularity. The artist should become scarce. Then only he will be kept in mind is the reason Jaggesh attributes on his short stint in television channel.
