'Janatha Garage' biggest hit even on Television

'Janatha Garage', which was telecast on Oct 28 on MAA TV, has registered the highest-ever TRPs for a Telugu movie so far in 2016. The TRP figure, as put out by the channel, is 20.69.

The fact is being celebrated more so because this happened on a day when the India Vs New Zealand ODI was being telecast LIVE. "Young Tiger @tarak9999 and @sivakoratala 's #JanathaGarage secured a TRP of 20.69 .. highest for 2016..20+ inspite of the cricket match," a spokesperson tweeted.

Released on Sept 1, the film stood to be an industry hit, the biggest grosser in NTR's career. Even on TV, the Koratala Siva directorial has proved its stamina.
