Despite NTR confirming it during the audio release function that 'Janatha Garage' will be released on Sept 2, there were apprehensions that the all-India strike called by a number of trade unions will play spoilsport, prompting the makers to defer the release by a day at least.

However, the makers' resolve is apparently strong. They are going ahead with their plans to release the film big-time on the 2nd of next month.

The film will go through the mandated censor formalities on the 27th of this month. NTR himself is planning to travel to Kerala on the 26th to participate in the audio release function there (for the Malayalam version). Mythri Movie Makers and NTR are counting on the Kerala market to help deliver BO records. The Young Tiger is said to be looking at crossing the Rs. 70 cr mark with the film.
