'Janma' Ready at Last!

This Kannada film connecting two states of Karnataka and Tamil Nadu plus the issues dogging the two states produced by Anekal Balaraj ‘Janma’ is all set for release on April 26.

It is over 3 years project and over Rs.3 crore investments on this project. Anekal Balaraj son Santosh is the hero of this film in the debut direction of Chakravarthy alias Chandrachud. I am convinced and happy with the total result of this film says producer Anekal Balaraj who had doubts in the capacity of the director in the initial days of taking up the project.

What is this ‘Janma’? According to director Chakravarthy this is a film made with lot of struggle and the script was made on knowing the developments on the demise day of Dr Rajakumar – April 12, 2006.

The developments of this film take place to some extent in Chennai. It is shot in some of the busy localities too.The film starts off with birth day of Dr Rajakumar and ends on the sad demise day. This film has been shot by two cameramen – Ananth Urs and Jagadish Wali.

It is about the innocent guy who is caught in certain situations that make him to enter the underworld. There are many twists and turns in this film. The hero is ‘Kanteerava’ the heroine is ‘Cauvery’. Actress of 130 plus films in various languages Sithara plays mother and she represents ‘Raja Rajeshwari’. Meanakshi is heroine. Thalavasai Vijay, Bullet Prakash, Anuradha and others are in the cast.

This is the second film of actor Santosh in his father banner. Earlier he acted in Kempa and now in a very strong role in ‘Janma’.
