Today is the 35th birthday of the tall and handsome actor Jayam Ravi and this is definitely one the most memorable birthdays of his life as it comes amidst the accolades pouting in from every nuke and corner for his latest film Thani Oruvan` and his performance as a upright and valorous cop in it.

Ravi who has completed more than a decade as a hero has had three releases this year (Romeo Juleit`, Sakalakala Vallavan` and Thani Oruvan`) and all of them belonged to different genres and he had altogether different characters in these three films. Beyond his onscreen image Ravi enjoys the patronage of family audience especially woman as he has hardly resorted to crass and chauvinistic elements in his films. The number of his fan clubs may be limited when compared to super stars and his peer heroes but he is an actor respected and liked by a large section of Tamil movie buffs.
