It would not be an understatement to say that Jayam Ravi, Nayanthara and Aravind Swamy starrer Thani Oruvan` has taken the entire movie buffs and critics by storm. The film thanks to the fantastic writing, griping narration and perfect execution by the director Mohan Raja has emerged as a people favorite in the box office.

Those who rushed in to the theatres late are those who do not be attentive to the screen until the main film starts would have missed the novelty in which the regular disclaimer in Tamil films was added up with Thani Oruvan`. This disclaimer shown before the start of the film carries the usual sentence that Indha padathil varubavai anaithum karpanaiye`( Everything included in this film is an outcome of fiction) It is the second line of the disclaimer that if noticed would have made you feel a wow. Padathil kattappadum kutrangal unmayil nadappavatrai vida kodooramanavai alla (The crimes shown in the film are not as heinous as the ones happening in real).

The wow factor of Thani Oruvan` actually begins from here and the filmmakers also intended to show what kind of environment the public is exposed to.
