Jayam Ravi's new film shares a unique record with Madhavan's

Recently Indiaglitz informed you that actor Madhavan's comeback venture in Tamil 'Irudhu Suttru' will be remade in Telugu with Venkatesh reprising Madhavan's role. The announcement on the remake came a day before the film's release and Venkatesh accepted to start in it just by listening to the script narrated by Sudha Kongara who will direct the Telugu version also.

Now we have news on another most expected Tamil film whose Telugu remake rights have been sold before theatrical release. Actor Jayam Ravi's upcoming film 'Miruthan' directed by Sakthi Soundararajan is the film which has achieved this feat.

The Telugu remake rights of 'Miruthan' has been snapped up by Telugu film produced Lakshmi Prasanna and the official announcement on the same can be expected any time soon. The director and lead cast of the film are yet to be finalized.

'Miruthan' which has Lakshmi Menon as the female lead is promoted as the first Zombie film in Tamil. The film with D.Imman's musical score will be hitting the screens on February 12, 2016.
