Jayasuriya, one of the most talented young actors of Mollywood was injured while shooting for his new movie 'Vadhyar'. The actor was shooting for a fight scene of the movie, when he fell down to inure his left knee.Jayasuriya was immediately taken to a private hospital at Thrissur, where he had his M R I scans.The actor who was advised rest for quite a few days, then went to his home at Ernakulam.

'Vadhyar', directed by Nidin Shakthy was in full swing with Ann Augustine coming up as the heroine to Jayasuriya.The movie which feature Jayasuriya as a school teacher also have Nedumudi Venu,Menaka, Vijayaraghavan, Menaka, Suraj, and Harishree Ashokan in the lead roles. 'Vadhyar' is produced by Akhil cinemas and Lekshmy Nath creations.
