'Jendapai Kapiraju' directed by Samuthira Khani and produced by KS Srinivasa Rao and Sivaraman on the banner of Vasan Visual Ventures with Nani and Amala Paul in the lead roles is being shot at Manikonda area in Hyderabad. GV Prakashkumar is scoring music and presently the film.

Speaking on the occasion, the director says, 'One has to correct himself, then the entire world get corrected. The subject of our film is the war against the bad qualities in us. There will be no negative shades in the film. Not only good message our film had lots of entertainment too. You will get the feel of reading a six months old newspaper. Nani is playing dual roles. As it takes time to change the body language between the characters, our shooting is going slow without any hurry. We will release the film in August or September.'

Nani says, 'This character had to be played by an artiste who had an experience of doing 40 or 50 films. But the director gave me an opportunity keeping trust on me. I am very happy and lucky in this regard. My characters would be very challenging. 'Jendapai Kapiraju' is a signal for war and victory. This film is nothing but a war against bad qualities. After discussing the script, there are so many changes in our team personally. Definitely this film would be very good film. In the first schedule we have completed one songs and some key scenes. Recently the second schedule had begun. Talkie part shooting is progressing now.

Amala Paul says, 'My character would connect to every girl. I am playing a very deglamorous role. I thank the director for giving me a good character.

When asked the director says, 'One of my friends, who never spoke lies suddenly leaves India and left for US saying 'It is hard to live in this country of corruption.' On that day, some of his words had inspired me on that day and I penned a story based on the discussion we had that day. The reason for taking Nani as hero is.... He is a realistic hero. He knows very well about the problems of a middle class family. I have complete confidence that he would do justice to the character.

The technical crew of the film is - Dialogues are by Sashank Vennelakanti, cinematography is by N Sukumar, music is by GV Prakash, lyrics are by Anant Sriram, art is by Jackey, while editing is by SN Fajil.
