'X-Men : Dark Phoenix' announced with huge star cast

The next installment in the hugely popular 'X-Men' series is 'Dark Phoenix' in which SophieTurner will be back in as Jean Grey and her alter ego, the titular Dark Phoenix who has psychic powers. The stellar cast comprises of Jennifer Lawrence, Michael Fassbender, James McAvoy, Nicholas Hoult, Alexandra Shipp, Tye Sheridan, and Kodi Smit-McPhee.

Simon Kinberg, who wrote four 'X-Men' movies and has also contributed for 'Deadpool' and 'Logan' makes his directorial debut in 'X-Men : Dark Phoenix'. Jessica Chastain is another big name who is in talks to play the chief antagonist Shi'ar Empress Lilandra Neramani. The team is looking at November 2018 for the worldwide release.
