'Jigarthanda' release date is here

Finally director Karthi Subbaraj`s second film Jigarthanda` has got a release date. The fate of the film became gloomy owing to an alleged tiff between its producer Kathiresan and the director over the violent content and the running length of the film. However now things seem to be sorted out and the film is going to release.

Karthi Subbaraj has revealed that 'Jigarthanda' is all set to hit the screens on July 25 and it will sure be a blockbuster hit.

The film starring Siddarth and Lakshmi Menon in lead roles and Simha in an important character is touted as a musical gangster flick set in Madurai. Music has been composed by Santosh Narayanan.
