Actor Jiiva's rural based action entertainer 'Thirunaal' has been watched by the Censor Board officials and the film has acquired by U/A certificate.

The film directed by P.S.Ramnath stars Nayanthara as the female lead opposite Jiiva and the duo comes together onscreen after a long gap after the super hit 'Ee'.

Interestingly 'Thirunaal' is the consecutive third Nayanthara starrer in Tamil to get U/A certificate after 'Maya' and 'Nanum Rowdy Dhan'.

The supporting cast of 'Thirunaal' includes Meenakshi, Karunas, Gobinath of 'Neeya Naana' fame, Sharath Lohithashwa, Joe Malluri, Marimuthu and many others. Srikanth Deva has rendered the musical score.

The film has been produced by M.Senthilkumar under Kodhandapani Films.
