Actor Jiiva and Nayanthara paired up for the first time for the film 'E' directed by S.P.Janathan which released for the Diwali 2006 and turned out to be a super hit. After a long gap, the duo have paired up again for 'Thirunaal' and the trailer of this film will be released for Diwali 2015.The trailer will be released at 12.01 am of November 2010 which is a few hours away from now.

At that time both Jiiva and Nayanthara were relatively new to film industry and the success of the film gave an important break in their respective acting careers. Now Nayanthara is the top heroine with back to back super hit and critically acclaimed films like 'Thani Oruvan' and 'Maya' while Jiiva who is still a much sought after actor badly needs a hit to reaffirm his position in the film industry.

'Thirunaal' has been directed by B.S.Ramnath who has earlier directed 'Ambasamuthiram Ambani' with Karunas in the lead role. The film is touted to be a rural based action entertainer. While Jiiva plays a local thug while Nayanthara plays a school teacher.

Music has been rendered by Sree while Mahesh Muthusamy has done the cinematography.
