Jiiva to star in Gautham's Telugu film!

While it was yesterday IG had reported that Jiiva has opened himself to do a full-fledged Telugu film, here comes more information on this front. On the verge of signing numerous good projects, Jiiva is also doing Gautham Menon's 'Neethane Yen Ponvasantham,' a romantic love flick.

This film was being simultaneously shot in Telugu with Ram playing the lead. With Ram disassociating himself from Gautham's Telugu project, the role has fallen on Jiiva's lap who has also willingly accepted the offer, according to reports!


The Telugu actor according to reports walked out on Gautham's film due to delay in filming a trilingual, despite Gautham beginning to shoot for its Hindi version from Chennai.

With Jiiva nodding his yes for being the lead in the Telugu version too, this will be his first all round Telugu film which will launch him into Tollywood. Since Samantha will be retained by the director as the lead lady in all the three languages of this trilingual, Jiiva will share screen space with Samantha in Tamil and the Telugu version.
