Speaking at the audio launch function of 'Jai Lava Kusa', NTR said that he had been confused after the success of 'Janatha Garage'. This is when Bobby narrated to him the script of 'JLK'.

"I was really in a dilemma as to what type of film to do. Should I follow the trend or should I do something that is close to my heart? The day Bobby gave the narration, the dilemma was resolved. I followed my heart. This is not just a film. Very rarely does an actor get to do such a movie," Young Tiger began saying.

"I and Kalyan Ram annayya wanted to give this film as a gift to our father on his 60th birthday. This is the one film we have done as brothers. This is our proud gift to him and our mothers. This is our success as brothers. This is the kind of film our respective children will be proud of watching when they grow up. That very thought gives me a lot of happiness," he said emotionally.

"This film brings out the greatness of brothers. God heard our prayers and made this film happen. This is one of the most satisfying scripts in my career," NTR further said.

He described Kona Venkat and Chakri as the film's backbone. Calling Chota K Naidu as his brother, NTR said, "He has been a great asset in pushing us to do better. As for the heroines, Rashi Khanna and Nivetha are a perfect blend. They are irreplaceable. Brahmaji, Sai Kumar garu and Posani Krishna Murali garu have done a fantastic job."

"It was on a flight that I met Devi (DSP) many years ago. Since our very first meeting, we have developed a deep connection as souls and humans. He has had fabulous hits and all that it takes for a relationship to collapse like a pack of cards is a small egoistic moment. But never does Devi get egoistic. Whenever I say a different tune is needed, he immediately plays ball. He is like a family member. It's very tough to handle a film like this," NTR said.

"I thank lyricists Chandrabose garu and Ramajogayya Sastry garu for their excellent songs. I also thank Anil, the CG co-ordinator," NTR signed off.
