After being in the industry for a decade, John Abraham has understood that being in complete creative control comes with its own distinct advantage.

No wonder, after tasting massive success with 'Vicky Donor' earlier this year, he has now upped the ante as far as his production plans are concerned. One such step in this direction is 'Mumbai Cafe', which was earlier titled 'Jaffna', which has already gone on floors and is making very good progress.

"I think 'Madras Cafe' is the beginning of a lot of ambitious films that I would be doing", says John who is collaborating with director Shoojit Sircar again on this film, "I believe that I am making this film in a very modest budget that keeps everyone happy, safe and secure.

I know how to control costs and still deliver a super product which boasts of a great look and aesthetics.

'Vicky Donor' was the right step taken which made me sure of what I was doing. Now even though 'Madras Cafe' is being made in a modest budget, I can promise that it would look like a larger than life film."

We look forward to that John.
