John Abraham can well leave his years of being 30 behind. Turning 39 and stepping into a zone that he believes would be even more eventful than his comparatively younger years, John is continuing to revel on all the accolades that he fetched with his film releases early this year. While 'Force' brought him the tag of 'Action Abraham', there was a sensitive side of his up for display in 'Desi Boyz'.

"Yes, I feel relieved with the way 'Force' and 'Desi Boyz' worked but frankly, I should have gone through this transition long time back," says John in an honest tone, "From now on I will choose films where my heart is really in there. I am glad to have made choices like 'Desi Boyz' and 'Force' because for a commercial actor like me, it was about time that I do many more commercial films like these. I did my best and with the kind of success that these films have eventually managed, I think whatever I had to prove, I have done that to myself."

Now 2012 is looking all the more exciting, what with 'Housefull 2', 'Race 2', 'I, Me Aur Main' as some of his confirmed releases with shooting of 'Shoot Out At Wadala' and 'Dostana 2' all set to commence.

"I am all excited for the year ahead. The kind of films that I am doing now, its going to be a lot of fun," smiles the birthday boy before signing off.
