'Joker' a clean family entertainer

The Censor Board has given a clean chit for Shirish Kunder’s forthcoming film ‘Joker’.

The film recently reviewed by the Board, has been received a ‘U’ certificate.

Feeling content over decision, the filmmaker seems to have more reason to be happy than just earning the certificate.

He said that the Board found ‘Joker’ to be completely clean for family audience; apparently a film that is rare these days.

Wrote on his micro-blogging site, "Censor gives 'U' Certificate with no cuts. Calls it a clean family entertainer they have seen in a long time".

Starring Akshay Kumar, Sonakshi Sinha, Shreyas Talpade, Minissha Lamba and Vindu Dara Singh, ‘Joker’ is waiting for its release this 31st Aug 2012.

The film is produced by Farah Khan and Ronnie Screwvala.
