Many Journalists have become film directors or script/dialogue writers. But a journalist becoming a lyricist is a rare occurrence in Tamil cinema. This has happened in ‘Amarakaaviyam’ produced by Arya starring his brother Sathya and Mia in lead roles.

Popular Journalist Ammalur Vetri aka Vetri Selvan has penned lyrics for a song composed by hot and happening music director Ghibran. The song has been rendered by Chitra and the film’s director Jeeva Sankar feels that Chitra has infused soul into the song and he assured that the song will be a rage among those who are in love and those who intend to love.

‘Amarakaaviyam’ is touted as a new age romantic flick that will be hitting the screens shortly.
