After the success of her maiden Tamil venture Thalainagaram, Jyothirmayi has managed to bag a plump offer in Tamil. She plays the role of rationalist leader E V R Periyar's wife Nagammai in a movie to be made on the life of the Periyar.
National award winner Gnana Rajasekaran would direct the movie, which stars Sathyaraj in the pivotal role.
Shooting for the movie will begin soon. Jyothirmayi would have more scope to acting unlike her debut venture in Tamil.
