Kaana Kombathu
Madhu Muttom, who has gifted Mollywood with the biggest of the hits in 'Manichithrathaazhu', will have his third scripts into film with the movie 'Kaanakombathu'. The movie featuring relatively fresher faces is directed by debutante Mahadevan.
The movie starts with a journey amidst which Balu meets Geethu.Within hours they become intimate friends and Balu realise that Geethu is fearing somebody. Balu consoles her and make her believe that he will take care of her in any possible crisis.But Balu is forced to leave Geethu midway due to peculiar reasons and to continue with his journey.
Later when Balu meets geethu , the second time, he finds that she has changed a lot. The story of the movie take a turn as now Geethu consider Balu as her biggest enemies and try to treat him just like that.
One of the young stars of Tamil ,Vinod Kishen, appear as Balu while Mydhili is Geethu.Also in the cast are Jagathy Sreekumar, Nedumudi Venu, Manoj K jayan, K P A C lalitha, Kalpana, Suraj Venjaaramoodu, Jafer Idukki and Kochu Preman. The movie will also feature former transport minister Jose Thettayil, Rtd Collector Ayyappan Nair, cricketer Sreeshanth 's brother Deepushanth and debutantes Shankar and Vinay in important roles.
The music department of 'kaanakombathu' is handled by Mohan Sithaara, who had set the tunes to songs written by Vayalar Sharth, Devadas and Tamil poet Kavinjer Muthulingam. Biju Vijay is the art director while Yesudas, Jyotsana, Madhu Balakrishnan, Shankar Narayanan and Master Govind croons for the movie.
Kaanakombathu' is produced by Dr. Leela Prasannan in the banner of C B Creations. Rajashree films distribute the movie to theatres, this June..
