Superstar Rajinikanth's next film is titled 'Kabali' directed by Ranjith of 'Attakathi' and 'Madras' fame in which he plays the role of an aging gangster. The film is said to be based on a true story and has Radihika Apte as the lead heroine with Dinesh, Kalaiarasan, Prakash Raj, Nassar and Dhanshika in pivotal roles.
'Kabali' 's music is by Santhosh Narayanan, camera by G. Murali, Edited by Praveen K. L and produced by Kalaipuli Thanu. The shooting of the film is expected to begin Chennai on the 18th of September and later on major portions will be shot in Malaysia, Singapore and Thailand.
