Pa. Ranjith declares about caste stamp

Pa. Ranjith the hottest name in town after delivering Kabali` the biggest hit for Superstar Rajinikanth was recently in the news more because of certain groups stamping him with a caste. In an interview to a Tamil magazine the maverick director has clearly stated that he is against any caste stamping on him.

Ranjith in his interview has elaborated that as a filmmaker, he will always speak for the downtrodden, but at the same time his mission is to abolish casteism. He believes that if one takes pride in his caste, then indirectly the thought of oppressing another will arise and thus he would never advocate that. Ranjith`s next film is rumored to be with Suriya or Vijay.
