"Kadal" has been a much spoken of film. Not only because it is a Maniratnam film for which AR Rahman is composing, but also because this film debuts Karthick's son Gautham and Radha's daughter Thulasi. This team launched the film's trailer yesterday, the 15th of January in a very grand event which had all the stars and team present.

This trailer of "Kadal" has crossed a million views already. ""Kadal" trailer crosses million and more views !!!!! Omgg !!!! " tweeted the excited heroine Thulasi. Arvind Swami also tweeted, "Kadal trailer crosses a million views...thanks for your love and support.”
