The Bollywood super hit movie 'Kahaani' is remade into Tamil and Telugu, by Sekhar Kammula, starring Nayanthara in the lead, titled 'Anaamika'. While the original film portrayed Vidhya Balan as a pregnant woman in search of her husband, the story line of 'Anaamika' is reportedly altered to suit the South Indian audience.
One of the most notable changes is that Nayan will not be portrayed to be pregnant in this bilingual flick. The makers claim that 'Anaamika' is not an imitation of 'Kahaani'; rather, the remake project is only an adaptation of the original. 'Anaamika' hits the screens as a Diwali treat this year, with the music scored by Keeravani.
