It's not just heroes who will undergo training for martial arts. Heroines too are joining the list of late. Close on the heels of Neetu Chandra getting a black belt in Taekwondo, Kajal Agarwal has underwent boxing classes.

The actress learnt boxing since she had to perform it for 'Thupakki', the Vijay starrer which is set to hit the screens on Deepavali day.

Besides getting tips from professional boxers, the actress also watched videos of Mary Kom, the boxing champion who won bronze medal in the recent Olympics.

"All these things helped Kajal a lot when she stood in front of the camera to perform a boxing scene. Everyone on the sets praised her," sources said.
