Yesterday Kajal Aggarwal, one of the leading heroines in South Indian film Industry met the press in Hyderabad. In the press meet she said, credited Tollywood for supporting her during her initial days without which she could not of dream of becoming a successful actress. She added that she will never leave Tollywood considered as India’s second ricehrs industry after Bollywood, at any cost and she also claimed that she has never in the past refused to act in a Telugu film that offers her a suitable role.

While the reason for Kajal’s self explanatory statement to woo the Telugu Industry and fans were unknown, her comments may irk a few in Tamil film Industry in which she is one of the contenders of top heroine slot. In fact, the first South Indian film maker to cast her was Veteran Director Bharathiraja for his Tamil-Hindi bilingual film Bommalattam, in 2006. However the film got released only in 2008, before which she had appeared in a few Telugu and Tamil fims.

Despite a career graph mixed with hits and misses Kajal has managed to climb up and hold on to the star status thanks to the stupendous success of Thuppakki and Jilla in which she got to pair with Vijay who is a star with tremendous mass following.
